Summary: | The invention relates to a method for preparing tetrapropoxy silane and tetrabutoxy silane from a five-ligand organosilicon compound. The method comprises the following steps: heating and reacting a pentaligand organosilicon compound under the catalysis of a catalyst, and centrifuging after the reaction is finished; and adding a proper amount of an organic solvent and calcium oxide into the filtrate, stirring, filtering, and removing the solvent through reduced pressure evaporation to obtain the alkoxy silane. Reaction conditions are mild, operation is easy and convenient, and environment friendliness is achieved.
