The invention relates to the field of tire production, in particular to an aviation radial tire seam allowance protection method and a tire. A fixed contact area and an intermittent contact area where a tire seam allowance is jointed with a rim are respectively protected by lower protective rubber and upper protective rubber which are made of different rubber compositions. The lower protective rubber is prepared from the following raw materials in parts by weight: based on 100 parts of olefin rubber, 5-15 parts of zinc oxide, 1-3 parts of stearic acid, 75-85 parts of a reinforcing agent, 2-5 parts of tackifying resin, 4-6 parts of an anti-aging agent, 5-10 parts of environment-friendly oil, 0.5-2.5 parts of insoluble sulfur and 1-2.5 parts of an accelerant.
