The present application relates to a container for storing and transporting a dielectric insulating medium, the container comprising: a container interior containing the dielectric insulating medium, and connecting means for connecting the container to a medium or high voltage electrical device and filling a housing of the electrical device with the dielectric insulating medium, the dielectric insulation medium is a mixture of: A) an organofluorine compound or a mixture of organofluorine compounds as component A, the molar percentage of component A in the dielectric insulation medium being in the range of 1 to 15 mol%; and B) a carrier gas compound other than an organofluorine compound or a mixture of carrier gas compounds as component B.
