The artificial reality acquisition and sharing system may provide an output view that displays a world view or a user perspective view from an artificial reality device. The world view may display a complete surrounding area being acquired by the artificial reality acquisition and sharing system, regardless of whether the user of the artificial reality device is viewing the portion of the surrounding environment. The viewing angle version may display a portion of the surrounding area located in a display area of the artificial reality device.
