The invention belongs to the field of intelligent traffic, and particularly relates to a method for automatically marking a one-way road tunnel traffic event ROI (Region of Interest), which comprises the following steps of: performing weighted average on road edge line data obtained by a road edge and road color backwashing method to obtain a target road edge line; and then combining the target road edge line, a preset road end horizontal line and an edge line right below the image to generate an original ROI region, and performing normalization processing on the original ROI region to obtain a target ROI region.
