Summary: | A lidar (LiDAR) system includes an emission light emitter, the intensity of the emitted light beams being substantially the same. The light emitter forms a light beam polarization pattern by emitting light beams of different polarizations. The lidar system also includes a receiver to receive reflected light from an object. An analyzer identifies a characteristic difference between a beam polarization pattern of a beam emitted to an object and an intensity pattern of object reflected light, and determines a reflection position associated with the object reflected light. And then judging whether the reflection position is an object position or a ghost position by using the identified characteristic difference.
