Summary: | The invention relates to a high-activity cobalt-based catalyst and a preparation method and application thereof.The preparation method comprises the following steps that graphene is placed in a potassium permanganate solution, then washed with ethyl alcohol and placed in a nitrogen-filled drying oven to be dried, and graphene oxide is obtained; adding the obtained graphene oxide, a cobalt source and a nickel source into a solvent according to a mass ratio of (0.5-2): (0.5-5): (0.5-5), and carrying out ultrasonic stirring; adding the stirred mixture into a hydrothermal reaction kettle, putting the hydrothermal reaction kettle into a nitrogen-filled drying oven, and reacting at 150-250 DEG C for 6-15 hours; and taking out the hydrothermal reaction kettle, cooling, separating and cleaning precipitates obtained by reaction, putting the cleaned precipitates into a nitrogen-filled drying box, and drying at 15-25 DEG C for 6-10 hours to obtain the catalyst.
