The paper sheet post-processing apparatus includes: a center seam binding section configured to discharge and load a plurality of recording paper sheets onto a table, align the front ends of the recording paper sheets against a front end cursor, bind the centers of the recording paper sheets, and bend the recording paper sheets; and a first pressing member that is supported so as to be swingable in a direction approaching and separating from the table. The first pressing member swings by being biased in a direction approaching the table by its own weight, and causes the tip of the recording paper discharged onto the table to pass through the tip cursor side, and presses a portion of the tip of the recording paper upstream of the tip cursor in a recording paper discharge direction.
