Abstract | The present invention relates to a method for sperm sorting of sperm cells contained in sperm of a mammalian species, said method comprising the step of mixing a sperm sample with a liposome and/or at least one Slo3 potassium channel inhibitor. Specifically, the invention also relates to a method for sorting sperm cells contained in sperm of a mammalian species, the method comprising the following steps: mixing the sperm and a fluorescent dye for labeling sperm DNA with a sample liquid to form a liquid mixture; providing a flow cytometry sperm sorting device selected from the group consisting of an in-air droplet system and a flow cell tip closure system; -using a sperm sorting device for said labeled liquid mixture, using a high-energy luminescent light source associated with a specific excitation spectrum of the dye, thereby providing each sperm cell entrapped in a single droplet, which droplet is hydrodynamically oriented by using a sheath fluid, identifying the DNA content in said droplet, distributing el |
