The invention discloses a light-emitting screen body and a preparation method thereof. The light-emitting screen body comprises a substrate; the lead metal layer is positioned on one side of the substrate; the transparent conductive layer is positioned on one side, far away from the substrate, of the lead metal layer; the light-emitting layer is located on the side, away from the substrate, of the transparent conducting layer; the cathode metal layer is located on the side, away from the transparent conductive layer, of the light-emitting layer; the substrate comprises a light-emitting area, a positive electrode connecting area and a negative electrode connecting area. The lead metal layer and the transparent conducting layer are located in the positive electrode connecting area and are electrically isolated from the lead metal layer and the transparent conducting layer located in the negative electrode connecting area; the cathode connecting area comprises a cathode lap joint area, the cathode lap joint area
