Summary:In a paper sheet post-processing device (20), a drive control unit (56) continuously performs control in a first mode in which each side end cursor (37) moves in the vertical direction, and control in a second mode in which each side end cursor (37) moves in a direction in which the side end cursor (37) moves close to or away from each other, and each side end cursor (37) moves close to or away from each other. The edge of the lower side of each side end cursor (37) is positioned at a first position which is separated from the main tray (24) upwards, each side end cursor (37) is positioned on the inner side of the width area of the paper, and the paper is discharged to the main tray (24) while being in sliding contact with the edge of the lower side of each side end cursor (37). The control in the second mode positions the edge of the lower side of each side end cursor (37) at a second position close to or in contact with the main tray (24), and restricts the side end of the sheet by each side end cursor (37)
