The present invention relates to opaque light-colored thermoplastic molding compositions with improved long-term weather aging stability and excellent optical appearance, in particular high color brightness. The thermoplastic molding composition of the present invention comprises a combination of an inorganic pigment and an organic soluble dye, wherein the inorganic pigment is selected from the group consisting of specific mixed metal oxides and mixed metal oxysulfides.
