Summary: | The invention provides a method for modifying a carbon felt electrode of an all-iron flow battery. The method comprises the following steps: 1) putting a carbon felt into a tubular furnace for firing; 2) preparing a Fe2 (SO4) 3 methanol solution and a dimethylimidazole methanol solution; 3) putting the carbon felt subjected to heat treatment into a dimethyl imidazole methanol solution, and then pouring a Fe2 (SO4) 3 methanol solution into the solution; 4) stirring the mixed solution and the carbon felt, taking out and drying; 5) putting the dried carbon felt into a tubular furnace, and firing in a nitrogen atmosphere; and 6) taking out the fired carbon felt, firstly cleaning with hydrochloric acid, then cleaning with deionized water, and drying after cleaning to obtain the modified carbon felt electrode.
