Summary:Disclosed is a device (100) for detecting a failure of a flow path joint coupler (10) connecting a traction part (50) and a trailer part (60) of a commercial or rail vehicle, in which the traction part (50) is provided with an actuatable mechanism (55) adapted to vary the pressure through the flow path joint coupler (10) for braking the trailer part (60).
