Summary: | Methods and systems for optimizing radiotherapy treatment plans using dose distribution values predicted via a trained artificial intelligence model are disclosed herein. The server trains the AI model using a training data set that includes data associated with a plurality of radiotherapy treatments previously performed on a plurality of previous patients and dose distributions associated with one or more organs of each previous patient. The server then executes (420) the trained AI model to predict a dose distribution for the patient. The server then displays the heat map depicting the predictive values, sends the predictive values to a plan optimizer to generate an optimized treatment plan for the patient, and/or sends (430) an alert when the treatment plan generated by the plan optimizer deviates from thresholds and rules indicated within the patient's plan goals.
