Summary: | The invention discloses a three-dimensional point cloud-based power transmission line hidden danger on-line monitoring method and device. The method comprises the following steps of: acquiring viewpoint three-dimensional images of a power transmission line at left and right viewing angles based on a three-dimensional vision system; performing feature stereo matching on the viewpoint stereo images under the left and right viewing angles, and generating a parallax image based on a feature stereo matching result; wherein each pixel in the parallax image is used for representing a pixel position difference of a feature point in the viewpoint three-dimensional image under the left and right viewing angles; and generating a depth image based on the parallax image, obtaining depth information of each pixel point in the depth image, performing three-dimensional scene reconstruction according to the depth information, and generating a scene three-dimensional point cloud model of the power transmission line.
