Summary: | The invention provides an alternating-current fan fault detection method which comprises the following steps: S1, acquiring alternating-current input voltage and voltage at two ends of a starting capacitor, and transmitting the acquired alternating-current input voltage and voltage at two ends of the starting capacitor to a detection unit; s2, comparing the amplitude between the voltage of the starting capacitor and the normal voltage through the detection unit, and judging whether the fault of the alternating-current fan is circuit break or not; and S3, calculating the phase difference between the AC input voltage and the starting capacitor voltage through the detection unit, and judging whether the AC fan fault is fan stalling or not. The open-circuit and locked-rotor fault detection circuit can effectively detect open-circuit and locked-rotor fault states in a full working range, is accurate in measurement result, simple in circuit, few in used devices and low in cost, and greatly reduces the cost.
