The invention provides a transmission and distribution cooperative checking method based on a monthly maintenance plan, and belongs to the technical field of power system simulation and safety checking. The method comprises the following steps: dividing a plurality of maintenance time periods according to the time span of each monthly maintenance list; based on a preset ground state section, determining a checking method according to the maintenance order type of the current maintenance order set in each maintenance period to generate a transfer scheme; based on the transfer scheme, performing security check on the current maintenance list set; wherein if a maintenance order set composed of all maintenance orders in the maintenance time period fails to pass the safety check, the maintenance orders are recombined, and the recombined maintenance order set is subjected to safety check again to check and verify, so that the safety check of each monthly maintenance order is completed. According to the method, the
