Summary: | The invention provides a magnetic core and a magnetic component which can realize improvement of magnetic core loss by using a method different from the prior art. The magnetic core contains metal magnetic particles. The total area proportion of the metal magnetic particles in the cross section of the magnetic core is 75% or more. The metal magnetic particles include: first large particles (11a) having an amorphous structure and having a Haiwood diameter of 3 [mu] m or more in a cross section of the magnetic core; and second large particles (11b) having a nanocrystal structure and having a Haiwood diameter of 3 [mu] m or more in a cross section of the magnetic core. The insulating film (4a) of the first large particles (11a) is thicker than the insulating film (4b) of the second large particles (11b).
