Summary: | The invention discloses a method for evaluating mechanical properties of existing steel structure steel based on a small punching test, which comprises the following steps of: sampling the existing steel structure steel on site, processing the existing steel structure steel into samples with thicknesses of 0.5 +/-0.01 mm and 0.6 +/-0.01 mm, and then carrying out the small punching test to obtain a yield load, a maximum load and a maximum axial displacement on a small punching test load-displacement curve; and then combining a formula to directly obtain the yield strength, tensile strength and elongation of the sample steel under the corresponding thickness. The method not only can directly evaluate multiple mechanical properties of the existing steel structure steel according to the calculated result, but also has the advantages of small structural damage caused by sampling, simple evaluation method, high precision and the like.
