Abstract The invention discloses a method for efficiently doubling corn haploids, and belongs to the field of breeding. In order to solve the technical problem of how to solve the problem of low DH production efficiency when haploid immature embryo doubling is carried out by colchicine, the invention provides a composition which comprises glycine, vitamin B1, nicotinic acid and vitamin B6. In the composition, the ratio of glycine to vitamin B1 to nicotinic acid to vitamin B6 is 20: 1: 5: 5.
