Summary:Systems, devices, and methods are disclosed for electroporation ablation therapy wherein the system includes a signal generator for generating a pre-ablation signal and a pulse waveform for medical ablation therapy, the signal generator may be coupled to an ablation device, the ablation device including at least one electrode for delivering ablation pulses to tissue. A signal generator may generate and deliver a pre-ablation signal to a subset of electrodes of an ablation device, and measure a current associated with the delivery to determine if the current meets one or more predetermined criteria.
