Summary: | The invention discloses a high-activity hydrolysis-resistant titanium catalyst as well as a preparation method and application thereof. The titanium catalyst comprises a reaction product and/or a mixture of the following components: (1) a titanium-containing substance, (2) hydroxycarboxylic acid and (3) an optional solvent, wherein the titanium-containing substance is selected from at least one of compounds shown in a formula (I): # imgabs0 #, in the formula (I), R1, R2, R3 and R4 are respectively and independently selected from at least one of C1-C20 straight-chain alkyl, C3-C20 branched alkyl and C6-C20 aryl, and n is greater than or equal to 2. The catalyst disclosed by the invention has excellent hydrolysis resistance and relatively high catalytic activity, is simple to prepare and is suitable for industrial production; polyester obtained by using the catalyst disclosed by the invention has relatively high intrinsic viscosity and excellent hue.
