A pedal pad (40) provided in an organ-type pedal device swings around a predetermined axial center (CL) by a depression operation by a driver's foot. The sensor unit (50) outputs a signal corresponding to the swing angle of the pedal pad (40). The reaction force generation mechanism (30) generates a reaction force with respect to the pedaling force of a driver applied to the pedal pad (40). The first housing (10) holds or covers at least one of a rotating shaft (41), a sensor unit (50), and a reaction force generating mechanism (30) provided to the axis (CL) of the pedal pad (40) for swinging.
