Summary:A pedal pad (40) provided in an organ-type pedal device swings around a predetermined axial center (CL) by a depression operation by a driver's foot. The sensor unit (50) outputs a signal corresponding to the swing angle of the pedal pad (40). The reaction force generation mechanism (30) generates a reaction force with respect to the pedaling force of a driver applied to the pedal pad (40). The first housing (10) holds or covers at least one of a rotating shaft (41), a sensor unit (50), and a reaction force generating mechanism (30) provided to the axis (CL) of the pedal pad (40) for swinging. The second housing (20) is configured from a rigid body section (21) having a greater Young's modulus than the first housing (10) or has such a rigid body section (21) in at least a portion thereof, and the rigid body section (21) supports a portion of the reaction force generation mechanism (30) on the opposite side from the pedal pad (40). 风琴式的踏板装置所具备的踏板垫(40)通过由驾驶员的脚进行踩下操作而绕着规定的轴心(CL)进行摆动。传感器单元(50)输出与踏板垫(40)的摆动角相应的信号。
