Summary:The present disclosure provides accelerated electrophoresis (ETP) methods and devices that improve concentration of a sample and/or separation of components of the sample. ETP methods and apparatus allow for two-dimensional electromigration. Electromigration of the sample may first occur in a first dimension along a single plane. The electromigration may then continue in a second dimension, which may be different than the first dimension. The volume at which the electromigration occurs may be significantly reduced from the first dimension to the second dimension.
