Summary: | The present invention relates to biotechnology, and in particular to a method for the production of an adjuvant betulinol, which is suitable for the preparation of a vaccine against the coronavirus SARS-CoV-2. The invention relates to a method for producing a betulin, consisting in sterilising and filtering a tetrahydrofuran solution of betulin through a nylon membrane having a pore size of 0.22 [mu] m, reducing the tetrahydrofuran content by adding 25 times the volume of a sterile 0.01 M tris buffer (pH 9.0 +/-0.1), and subsequently homogenizing by ultrasound until a homogenized suspension is produced, spherical, amorphous, homogeneous particles suitable for binding to the SARS-CoV-2 viral protein are formed. The proposed technology makes it possible to produce betulinol with high sterility and immunogenicity, which improves the quality of vaccines against coronavirus.
