Summary:A laryngoscope assembly and portions thereof are disclosed. The laryngoscope assembly includes a blade unit extending from a proximal end to a distal end, the blade unit having a distal portion extending to the distal end and including a first surface, where the distal portion is adapted to be inserted into an oral cavity of a patient, where the first surface faces a tongue of the patient. The laryngoscope assembly further includes a control unit including a body portion having a first body portion coupleable to the blade unit and a second body portion. The control unit and the blade unit when coupled together form a laryngoscope.
