According to the prepared high-performance titanium dioxide, the application whiteness and covering power of the product can be improved, and the product reaches the level of high-quality titanium dioxide for water-based paint. 本发明涉及水性涂料领域，具体公开了一种应用于水性涂料的高性能钛白粉制备方法，包括以下步骤：以金红石型二氧化钛氯化初品作为原料制备钛白粉浆料；加热钛白粉浆料，并在搅拌状态下对钛白粉浆料进行三次熟化；用去离子水洗涤，加入三羟甲基丙烷搅拌均匀后，烘干破碎、汽流粉碎即得。本发明制得的高性能钛白粉，能提高产品的应用白度、遮盖力，产品达到水性涂料用优级钛白粉水平。
