Summary: | The present disclosure provides a chelating composition having a pH of at least about 9 and comprising: water; and a tetrasodium salt of glutamic acid N, N-diacetate present in an amount of at least about 50% by weight based on the total weight of the chelating composition, determined using a Fe-total chelation value wherein the chelating composition has a viscosity of less than about 1350 mPa.s at about 5 DEG C or less than about 350 mPa.s, each measured using a Brookfield DV II plus viscometer having a S18 rotor and a temperature control bath.
