Summary: | Herein is reported a novel, high throughput, suitable method for characterizing and identifying and selecting recombinant cell clones expressing bispecific antibodies with high titers and low levels of antibody-related by-products. The method according to the invention uses the isolated binding to the corresponding target of the antibody and a contemporaneously bound binding signal for immunoassay-based screening of the recombinant cell clone culture supernatant. This data allows for the selection of highly productive cell clones with desired product profiles.
