Summary: | The invention relates to the field of gene transfer. More specifically, the present invention relates to a method for enhancing the transfer of a receptor-targeted gene into a primitive T-cell as a host cell, the method comprising contacting a host cell comprised in a sample with a gene transfer vehicle in the presence of a tyrosine kinase inhibitor capable of inhibiting LCK tyrosine kinase in the host cell, the gene transfer vehicle comprises a targeting agent that specifically binds CD3 and a nucleic acid of interest to be transferred into the host cell, and the obtained host cell culture is cultured at a time and under conditions that allow receptor-targeted gene transfer.
