Summary:The invention relates to the technical field of emitter compounds, in particular to a compound serving as a phosphorescent emitter in an organic electroluminescent device and application of the compound. The compound provided by the invention comprises at least one aromatic ring or heteroaromatic ring, wherein the aromatic ring or heteroaromatic ring has at least one substituent group as shown in a formula (I). A five-membered ring ligand containing boron atoms is introduced into the compound, and the compound is used as a phosphorescent emitter in an organic electroluminescent device, so that the emission spectrum is narrowed, the sublimation temperature is reduced, and the luminous efficiency of the device is improved. Meanwhile, the five-membered ring ligands containing the boron atoms are introduced into iridium or platinum complexes, so that the sublimation stability of the obtained iridium complexes and platinum complexes can be well improved, and the phosphorescence quantum yield of the complexes is im
