Summary: | An integrated package including a laboratory on chip (LOC) is disclosed. The LOC includes at least one integrated device having: a film portion having a film opening, the film portion having a first side and a second side, the first side being opposite the second side; a MEMS portion disposed on the first side of the membrane portion, the MEMS portion having a sharp member disposed on an actuator stage within a MEMS cavity; and a fluid portion disposed on the second side of the membrane portion, the fluid portion having a fluid cavity for flowing a fluid medium within the fluid portion; and a fluid cover forming a surface of the fluid portion of the LOC, the fluid cover having a fluid inlet and a fluid outlet. A method of operating the LOC includes powering the at least one integrated device to capture one or more particles for interrogation.
