Summary: | The invention provides a novel self-assembled nanoparticle vaccine for porcine delta coronavirus and an application of the novel self-assembled nanoparticle vaccine. In this study, the immunogenicity of ferritin nanoparticles coupled to RBD dimers has been designed and evaluated. The RBD-Fe induces to generate a large number of RBD specific antibodies and can also induce to generate high-level neutralizing antibodies, and Kunming mice are protected from obvious PDCoV infection symptoms after being attacked by viruses. Meanwhile, the RBD-Fe vaccine not only can induce generation of CD3 + CD19 + B cell populations, but also can induce high-percentage THT and CTL cell populations, which indicates that the nanoparticle vaccine also can activate powerful T cell immune response and eliminate possibly infected cells.
