Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a multi-cluster panel for distributed virtualized infrastructure element monitoring and policy control. A computing system includes a plurality of different cloud-based computing clusters (e.g., different cloud items), each cloud-based computing cluster including a set of computing nodes. A policy agent executes on a compute node to monitor performance and usage metrics related to compute node resources. A policy controller within each cluster deploys policies to a policy agent and evaluates performance and usage metrics from the policy agent through application of one or more rule sets for infrastructure elements of the computing cluster. Each of the policy controllers outputs data indicative of a current health of the infrastructure element to the multi-cluster panel software system based on an evaluation of performance and usage metrics of the cluster.
