Summary:The present invention relates to a modified reovirus and a use thereof, and has proved that a novel modified reovirus derived from a wild-type reovirus not only has a good anti-cancer effect on various cancers, including rare cancers, but also can enhance the effect of a cancer immunotherapeutic agent. In particular, it has been demonstrated that the modified reovirus according to the present invention can significantly reduce the cell viability of all cancer cell lines when used in the treatment of various types of cancer cells, including rare cancers such as melanoma and tongue cancer, in particular, has a good anti-cancer effect even for cancer cell lines that are resistant to taxane-based anti-cancer drugs. Furthermore, the modified reovirus according to the present invention exhibits a dose-dependent anti-cancer effect of an independent administration route even in a mouse model of melanoma, bladder cancer, and oral cancer, and exhibits a further improvement in anti-cancer effect when administered repeat
