Summary:The invention relates to an orientation device (1) and an aircraft assembly for orienting a single piece of goods (4) lifted via a winch (2) of an aircraft (3) about an axis of rotation (16) parallel to a yaw axis (12) of the aircraft (3). The orienting device (1) has an orienting body (8) which can be fastened to the underside (9) of the aircraft (3) and an orienting counterpart (6) which can be fastened to the single piece of goods (4). The orienting partner (6) has an orienting projection (15) which points in the direction of the aircraft (3) when the orienting device (1) is used as intended.
