The AquKGD gamma can be used for degrading kanamycin (amino cyclic alcohol 4, 6-O-amino sugar diglycoside) into amino cyclic alcohol 6-O-amino glycoside. The product of kanamycin degraded by AquKGD gamma loses the bacteriostatic activity on bacteria, in addition, the cytotoxicity of the degradation product is evaluated, and the toxicity is obviously reduced compared with that of parent kanamycin with the same concentration. The result shows that when the AquKGD gamma is used for degrading and repairing kanamycin in the environment, secondary pollution cannot be caused, and application feasibility is achieved.
