Summary:Provided herein are 1H-NMR spectroscopy molecular markers for the identification of medical risk markers such as SARS-CoV-2 infection, acute inflammation, or cardiovascular risk conditions. The labeling uses a combination of NMR intensity signals comprising a Glyc signal from at least one N-acetyl (-NCOCH3) glycoprotein and an SPC signal from the choline head group (+ N-(CH3) 3) of a supramolecular phospholipid cluster (SPC) present in the HDL and LDL lipoprotein sub-fractions. The Glyc signal is in a chemical shift region of # = 2.00 ppm to # = 2.20 ppm, and includes a signal GlycA (2.00 ppm to 2.09 ppm) and a signal GlycB (2.09 ppm to 2.2 ppm). The SPC signal is in a chemical shift region of # = 3.20 ppm to # = 3.30 ppm, and includes a signal SPC1 (3.2 ppm to 3.235) ppm, a signal SPC2 (3.235 ppm to 3.26 ppm), and a signal SPC3 (3.26 ppm to 3.3 ppm). Also provided herein are systems for identifying markers.
