Summary: | The invention discloses liquid crystal polyester and a preparation method and application thereof, the liquid crystal polyester comprises 24.1 mol%-77 mol% of a repetitive unit (I) based on the total amount of repetitive units, and the repetitive unit (I) has a phenylene structure; the amount of the repetitive unit (II) is 23 mol%-75.9 mol%, and the repetitive unit (II) has a naphthylene structure. The liquid crystal polyester provided by the invention has extremely low dielectric constant and dielectric loss, the processability and flexibility of a blow-molded film are improved, and the non-uniformity of the appearance and dielectric property of a liquid crystal polyester film caused by blending of aliphatic polyester additives is avoided.
