Summary: | The invention requests to protect application of biochar in carbon sequestration, emission reduction, water conservation, efficiency improvement and crop quality and yield increase in northern Xinjiang irrigation area farmland. The invention further discloses a water-saving, efficiency-increasing and emission-reducing method for the wheat field added with the biochar. The method specifically comprises the following steps: (1) preparing the biochar; (2) applying the biochar into wheat field soil in an irrigation area in northern Xinjiang to obtain improved soil; (3) sowing wheat in the improved soil; and (4) starting to reduce irrigation in a wheat jointing stage.
