Summary: | The invention provides a lead-carbon battery negative electrode material taking zinc bismuthate as a hydrogen evolution inhibitor and a negative electrode, and relates to the technical field of battery energy storage. The lead-carbon battery negative electrode material provided by the invention is prepared from the following components in parts by weight: 0.06 to 0.12 part of short fiber, 0.5 to 1.5 parts of barium sulfate, 0.3 to 1.5 parts of carbon, 0.1 to 0.15 part of lignin, 0.15 to 0.35 part of humic acid, 0.5 to 3 parts of zinc bismuthate and 93 to 98 parts of lead powder. Zinc bismuthate is prepared through a hydrothermal method, the process is simple, and the hydrogen evolution inhibition effect is better than that of single materials (bismuth oxide and zinc oxide). The zinc bismuthate bimetallic material is added for preparing the electrode material, so that hydrogen evolution reaction caused by a carbon material can be inhibited, and the electrode material has excellent cycle life.
