A microsurgical device and method of use thereof can be used to treat various conditions, including ocular diseases such as glaucoma, using minimally invasive surgical techniques. A dual blade device may be used to cut a trabecular mesh ("TM") in an eye. The device tip provides access to the scleral sinus through its size (i.e., e.g., 0.2-0.3 mm wide) and configuration in which the ramp lifts the TM away from the outer wall of the scleral sinus and directs the TM to the first and second transverse elements to create first and second incisions through the TM.
