The vibratory wet settler is designed to remove particulates from the particulate-containing hot gas. The settler (10) includes an array (30) of vertical moist cords (26) stretched within a conduit (12). The cords (26) are adjusted to vibrate due to airflow by controlling key parameters such as airflow, velocity, cord length and diameter, so that particle collection and heat transfer efficiency is maximized. The cord is part of a screen curtain (24). A plurality of these screens are arranged to define a plurality of gaps (28) through which exhaust gas flows. The screen curtain (24) and thereby the cords (26) are spaced apart such that vortices from a first cord (26a) affect adjacent cords (26b) and subsequent cords (26c). The particulates are then absorbed in the liquid, which may pass through the heat exchanger, be filtered and then reused. Preferably, the cord arrangement is designed to allow the cords to vibrate at high frequencies, typically 10 to 100 Hz, to maximize particle collection. 振动湿式沉降器设计成用于去除含颗粒
