Summary: | Systems, devices, and methods are disclosed for measuring air conditioning output temperature to ensure that an appropriate amount of refrigerant is used to recharge an A/C vehicle coolant system, such as an automotive coolant system. An air-conditioning temperature measurement device for use with a valve-actuated refrigerant refill assembly operates in cooperation with a pressurized refrigerant bottle and a remote temperature sensor activated by radio frequency (RF) wireless communication. The sampled temperature at the air outlet of the air-conditioned compartment and the rate of temperature change at the inlet regulate the recharge of refrigerant to the low pressure side of the phase change A/C control system. In one embodiment, the method automatically senses (1) the rate of temperature change in the air-conditioning column, and (2) modulation of the rate of refrigerant refilling to ensure (3) sufficient refrigerant has been introduced to improve cooling efficiency, while (4) over-filling is prevented by |
