Summary: | The purpose of the present invention is to provide a compact charger capable of absorbing power fluctuations. This object is solved by: a rectifier comprising an input terminal, a cathode terminal, and an anode terminal, in which the input terminal is configured to be connected to an AC power supply; a DC/DC converter including a first terminal configured to be connected to the cathode terminal of the rectifier, a second terminal configured to be connected to the anode terminal of the rectifier, and an output terminal configured to be connected to a battery; and a power fluctuation absorption circuit including a first diode, a second diode, a third diode, an inductor, a capacitor, a first switch, and a second switch, in which the DC/DC converter, the first switch, and the second switch are controlled during a rise of a voltage output by the AC power source, the constant sum of the power output from the AC power supply and the power output from the capacitor is obtained.
