The local necking device comprises a machine frame, a pipe fitting feeding column, a pipe fitting deviation rectifying and positioning column and a pipe fitting necking and positioning column which are vertically arranged are sequentially arranged on the machine frame, a first positioning mechanism is installed on the machine frame, and the first positioning mechanism is matched with the pipe fitting deviation rectifying and positioning column to position the orientation of the oblique opening of the pipe fitting; a necking sleeve is correspondingly arranged on the pipe fitting necking positioning column and fixedly connected to a support, the support is connected with a piston rod of a vertically-arranged oil cylinder, the oil cylinder drives the necking sleeve to move up and down through the support to be matched with the pipe fitting necking positioning column to conduct necking machining on the pipe fitting, and a vertically-arranged stripping air cylinder is installed on the support.
