Summary: | The invention relates to the field of plant molecular biology, in particular to a loquat leaf cold resistance related gene EjGLK1, a protein coded by the same and application of the EjGLK1. The full length of the cDNA sequence of the gene is as shown in SEQ ID No.1, and the amino acid sequence of the encoded protein of the gene is as shown in SEQ ID No.2. According to the EjGLK1 gene disclosed by the invention, the cold resistance of plants is improved by influencing the synthesis of chloroplast related genes and the expression of related genes in a low-temperature stress pathway ICE-CBF-COR. A plant expression vector pFGC5941-35S:: EjGLK1 containing a target gene is transferred into wild arabidopsis thaliana through agrobacterium tumefaciens mediation by using a flower immersion method.
