The invention discloses a terrain generation method and device, terminal equipment and a storage medium, and the method comprises the steps: displaying a terrain setting interface which comprises a terrain configuration interface used for configuring a terrain space and a first configuration interface used for setting the distribution of a first landform object in the terrain space; receiving a first configuration instruction through the first configuration interface, wherein the first configuration instruction comprises at least one preset first landform object; receiving a terrain configuration instruction through the terrain configuration interface, wherein the terrain configuration instruction comprises terrain parameters; and generating a three-dimensional terrain according to the terrain parameters and the first landform object.
