Summary: | The invention relates to a system for measuring the specific temperature of at least one reforming tube in a steam methane reforming furnace, in which tubes arranged vertically in rows produce syngas at the tube outlets, the tubes leading to a given row of longitudinal manifolds comprising means for measuring the at least one temperature of the syngas exiting the tubes, the device is positioned along the length of the manifold and comprises: a tubular first portion on which at least one temperature sensor is positioned in the syngas at an opening of the tube at which the syngas outlet temperature is to be measured; and a second portion extending the first portion for transmitting data captured by the sensor to the outside up to a third portion including an instrument for calculating a temperature from the captured data.
